if its a different brand to find out the ip address of the router

1)navigate to start>run(vista = start search)> type in cmd > enter
2)type in ipconfig /all>enter
and it will be there under dns servers
and the user name possibilities will be
-admin
-administrator
-brand name

possibilities for passwords are
-password
-admin
-blank
-administrator
-could even be the brand name eg dlink
