No bootable drive found

Problem

Computer says "No bootable disk found" or "please insert boot disk"

Solution

Computer cannot find a Hard disk or other bootable media to boot from.

1. Check boot order in BIOS
- Make sure that First is CD or Floppy
- Then make sure that following that is the main hard disk

2. Make sure that the Hardware is not faulty and is plugged in securely

3. Make sure that any disks installed and being checked (CD/Floppy) are bootable. 4. Make sure that Windows/Dos/Linux/FreeBSD is installed and MBR is set up.
