How to: Delete Browsing History, Internet Explorer 7
Whenever you browse a web site/page, read web browser based emails. Those information and data are stored on your computer. This is referred to as 'Temporary Internet files' or 'Cache'Also web pages keep track of your details in files called cookies If you don't want others to see what files you have on your system or what sites you've browsed. EG: your selling your computer or using a public or kiosk computer. Solution To access the history deleting function : Run Internet Explorer Press [Alt] + [T] Click [Delete Browsing History...] You will be presented with the following options : Delete files... - Deletion of files eg: images / pages / media - Clearing this will also recover HDD space Delete cookies... - Deletion of website preferences information Delete history... - Websites visited history Delete forms... - Information you've typed in forms Delete passwords... - Passwords thats been saved for your convinence Delete All...
