Antivirus XP 2008*ProblemThe fake Antivirus XP 2008 is installed on your PCMS Antivirus is a scareware rogue anti-virus which claims to remove bogus virus infections found on a computer running Microsoft Windows. Solution
To remove this spyware you will need to first have these programs
1- Killbox - Link 2- Lavasoft's Ad-Aware - Link3- Malwarebytes - Link Follow instructions below 1-Open Killbox 2-Click on the processes button 3-Right-click on Windows Taskbar to open "Task Manager" 4-Open the Antivirus XP program 5-Then go to Task Manager > Applications and right-click on the Antivirus XP application and select the option "go to processes"6-Once you see the process name, search through your C:\ drive for the file using the name of the process7-Once you find the file, search it through kill box, take down the directory 8-Close the Antivirus XP 2008 9-End the process through Antivirus XP 10-Delete the file 11-Go to the directory and delete all files 12-Reboot and boot into safe mode 13-Install Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and do a scan for spyware 14-Remove all spyware 15-Install Malwarebytes and scan16-Remove all malware Add Comment
